Background & Origin

Sudan Hope Project was founded in response to the prolonged conflict, mass displacement, and humanitarian crisis affecting Sudanese communities, particularly refugees and internally displaced persons from marginalized regions such as the Nuba Mountains.

Born out of lived experience within refugee and diaspora communities, Sudan Hope Project emerged to fill critical gaps in emergency assistance, recovery, and long-term community development, while ensuring that affected populations are treated with dignity, compassion, and faith-driven hope.

What We Do – Our Six Program Pillars

Life-saving support during crises, including food, shelter, health, WASH, and emergency cash assistance.

Spiritual care, trauma healing, leadership development, and faith-led community restoration.

Education access, scholarships, youth leadership, and skills development for children and young people.
