Devotional Thought: "Hope in the Wilderness"
Even in displacement, the wilderness can become a place of encounter with God. Many families we serve feel forgotten, abandoned, or overwhelmed—but God meets people in the hardest places. When Israel wandered in the desert, God provided manna, water, direction, and protection. Today, He does the same for refugees fleeing Sudan.
Our prayer is that every person we serve will discover:
- God sees them.
- God knows their sorrow.
- God walks with them through the valley.
- God has a future for them—and for Sudan.
